Some images about the 2018 Super Sentai series, Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patorange, has surfaced online thanks to Twitter user Dun's Workshop.
Here's our first look at the two Sentai teams. On the left we have the Patorangers and on the right we have the Lupinrangers. Both teams consist of three members and are themed after cops and thieves, as evident by their visors. Members includes:
The teams' transformation device is a gun called the VS Changer. The Patorangers will use Trigger Machines, which resembles tiny police cars, while the Lupinrangers will use Dial Fighters which looks like planes with hats to assume their transformations. The Trigger Machines and Dial Fighters has to be attached on the top or bottom of the VS Changer to transform respectively.
Here are their mechas. The one on the left is the PatoKaizer and the other one is the LupinKaizer, formed by the teams' vehicles. They parts can be interchanged with each other to create different robot combinations.
The Combination Baset serves as the
transformation base for the two robots. It can be combined with the VS
Changer to form the VS Bazooka. It is used to activate the Lupinranger's
duplication finisher,
Stealing Strike.
The Patoranger version of the Good Striker can activate the teams' special move, the ability to fuse into one ranger.
The toys seem entertaining, I can't wait to see the cast for the show!
